Graduating with excellence from Maulana Azad Medical College, Dr. Rizvi pursued his DM in Nephrology at AIIMS, New Delhi. His extensive medical journey includes significant roles, such as Associate Director and Senior Consultant at Dharamshila Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Delhi and Former Faculty and Head of Nephrology Department at VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi.

Dr. Rizvi’s commitment to advancing nephrology extends beyond clinical practice. He played a pivotal role in launching the Renal Transplant Programme at Safdarjung Hospital and initiated the Cadaver Renal Transplant Program at Safdarjung Hospital. His contributions span national healthcare committees, reflecting his dedication to shaping healthcare policies.

As a recognized DNB faculty, Dr. Rizvi has been instrumental in initiating the DNB Nephrology teaching program at Dharamshila Narayana Super Speciality Hospital, Delhi, showcasing his commitment to educating future nephrologists.
